Back from Disneyland Paris

Don’t forget I have moved my blog to TheDigitalLifestyle.com

It feels like I have been away for ages and it’s good to be back. I had no Internet connection over the last week apart from the odd GPRS signal on my Treo. Typically the site went offline while I was away fortunately Tony in my office was able to get it back again. In terms of technology the trip was good and bad. The good was my Samsung Q1 UMPC which was great for watching TV I had recorded on my Media Center PC, I am sure French TV is great but as I don’t speak French so it was lost on me and the English channel was just a rolling Disney advert. I also used the Q1 on the train to prepare some of the weeks show. The bad was my main very reliable Media Center PC had turned it self off with a hardware error, I saw it do it myself it just switched off, no warning and not a Windows problem. I have reseated all the cards and hopefully it will stay on now

So now I am trying to catch up on email and the weeks news, it good to be back!

Post roundup and no podcast next week

If you have a Twitter account you can follow me isdixon and I will follow you back. Hopefully there will not be to much news like Microsoft announcing Windows 7 or the next version of Media Center!

Here is a roundup of this weeks posts:
